Sole Sister Ramblers, two ways in.

Two concrete placements for a possible Sole Sister Ramblers partnership — one on /movement, one on /events. Each keeps Nila's editorial-first rule, sits in an optional labelled community-partner block members can dismiss, and never leaks into symptom or crisis pages. Nothing here is live on the site.

How to read this page. Each mockup below is exactly what would render on the real page (Movement, then Events), pulled out of context so you can see it clean. Copy is a first draft, tone-matched to Nila. Sole Circles are listed at no cost to members; Challenges are clearly labelled as Sole Sister's paid offering.

Sole Circles
Community-led walking groups. No cost to join. 100+ local WhatsApp groups.
Virtual Challenges
Paid Sole Sister membership: $8/mo, $60/yr (from $96), or $15 one-time.
Travel Adventures
Priced per trip. Women-only walking + sightseeing.
01

Mockup 01

Where it lives. Lives inside /movement, under the Walking doorway.

Why here. The walking section already argues walking is the most underrated cardio + mood intervention. Sole Circles answers the one question that section always leaves open, 'who do I walk with?' Circles sit inline as a community resource, not as an ad.

Sole Sister Ramblers

Community partner

Walk with other women

Sole Sister Ramblers runs 100+ Sole Circles across Canada, the US, UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand, small local WhatsApp groups of midlife women who meet regularly for a ramble. Open to join at no cost, no pace pressure, no distance target. You pick the country, tap the join link, and the local Circle takes it from there.

  • Run by volunteer Circle hosts, not by staff.
  • WhatsApp-based, so it works on any phone.
  • Community guidelines and a safety disclaimer sit on their site.
02

Mockup 02

Where it lives. Lives on /events, as a community-partner card at the top of the 'Challenges & cohorts' shelf (and, when a Circle host lists a real-world Ramble, in the 'Walks & fundraisers' shelf too).

Why here. The Events directory is where Nila members already come looking for the shape Sole Sister runs best — small, non-competitive, hosted group experiences. A named partner card sits above the shelf so members read Sole Sister as the community partner behind the co-hosted Challenges, not as an ad next to them.

Sole Sister Ramblers
Community partner · challenges & cohorts

Sole Sister Ramblers — the cohort shape, done right.

Nila’s co-hosted Challenges below run inside Sole Sister’s private WhatsApp cohort format — the same shape that carries their 100+ Sole Circles and their own Virtual Challenges. Small groups, real people, no leaderboards.

03

Mockup 03

Where it lives. Sits inside the /events 'Challenges & cohorts' shelf as a normal event card (already live for the September and October pilots).

Why here. Once the community-partner card above is read, the co-hosted Challenges land as regular events on the same shelf — same visual weight as every other listing, honest about price, dismissible via the shelf itself. This is where a Nila × Sole Sister co-branded month lives.

This season · community challenge

Thirty days. Your pace. Not alone.

A Sole Sister Ramblers Virtual Challenge is a structured, non-competitive month, hosted inside a private WhatsApp group with women doing it beside you. Pick from Daily Steps, Daily Walk, Stretch & Strength, Wise Woman, Self Care, Gratitude Journaling, Decluttering, Mindful Money and more. Several open each month, and members can repeat any of them.

  • Daily prompts, none of them punishing.
  • A private WhatsApp group for the duration.
  • Finish alongside a real ramble if there's a Sole Circle near you.
What it costs. A paid Sole Sister Ramblers membership: $8/mo, $60/yr (sale, from $96), or $15 one-time for a single Challenge. Monthly and annual members can join unlimited Challenges.

What a partnership could look like

Nila × Sole Sister Ramblers

A value exchange between two aligned audiences.

What I’d propose is a value exchange: each of us puts the other in front of our members in the places our members already trust us. Nila brings a fast-growing midlife audience, a bi-weekly newsletter that launched July 4 and is already past 684 subscribers, social promotion, and growing recognition through Femtech Canada and The Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada (SOGC); Sole Sister brings 100+ global Circles, a proven virtual challenge model, women-only walking adventures, and a Her Story invitation in Rambler Cafe. We start with independent editorial mentions and see what resonates before any deeper integration.

What Nila gives Sole Sister
  • The two placements above — a community-partner block on /movement and a community-partner card on /events — pointing to Sole Circles and (in season) the co-hosted Challenges, live on the pages midlife women already come to.
  • One feature in the Nila bi-weekly newsletter to our 684 subscribers (launched July 4), plus social media promotion.
  • A named credit on Nila's Movement page: "Community partner: Sole Sister Ramblers."
  • A Nila chatbot answer for "how do I find women to walk with?" that points to your Circle finder by country.
  • Association with Nila's growing Femtech Canada network and The Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada (SOGC) recognition work as we build "recognized by" credibility.
What we'd love from Sole Sister
  • A Her Story feature in Rambler Cafe sharing the Nila founder's personal journey — what inspired Nila and how movement and community shaped that path — exactly as Naomi offered.
  • One introduction in the Sole Sister newsletter as a "midlife health companion your Sole Sisters might like."
  • Permission for Circle hosts to share Nila with their local group if it comes up naturally — never pushed.
  • Optionally: a guest piece from Naomi on Nila (rambling as nervous-system medicine).

Both sides stay editorially independent. Nothing is exclusive. Either of us can pause any placement at any time, no explanation needed. If it goes well and we ever want to co-host a month down the line, that's a separate conversation.

Notes for Naomi

A few ways I'd suggest we sequence this.

  1. Start with Sole Circles on /movement (mockup 01). Circles sit as a service to members from day one, no commercial pressure on either side.
  2. Layer in the /events community-partner card (mockup 02) once we’re ready to run a co-hosted month, so the Challenge cards below it read as partner-hosted, not sponsored.
  3. Co-hosted Challenges (mockup 03) are the seasonal beat on /events, surfaced only when a Challenge is genuinely open, transparent about the paid membership. This is where a Nila × Sole Sister co-branded month lives.
  4. The exchange (mockup 04): a value swap between aligned audiences. Nila offers newsletter, social, and association recognition; Sole Sister offers its Circles, Challenges, and a Her Story placement. We prove value before discussing anything commercial.
  5. What we'd never do: gate a Sole Circle behind a Nila account, or let any placement leak into a symptom / crisis page. Community partnerships live in Joy, Movement, Community, and the Library, and nowhere else.

The Movement page is where mockup 01 sits; mockups 02 and 03 both live on the Events directory, inside the Challenges & cohorts shelf.
