You have rights at the doctor, at work and at the pharmacy.
We read the policy so you don't have to. Here's what you can say, and a letter you can hand over. All guides and template letters are free forever.

Plan NP began covering listed MHT benefits on March 1, 2026. Eligible MSP-enrolled B.C. residents can receive fully covered products at a B.C. pharmacy without a medication or dispensing charge. Some products are partially covered under low-cost alternative pricing. A prescription is needed; not every brand or formulation is free.
Menopause isn't automatically a disability or a separate leave. Symptoms may engage disability-related accommodation duties, depending on their effects and the law that applies. Employers can ask for relevant supporting information. Sick leave varies by jurisdiction and contract.
Undue hardship is a limited exception to the duty to accommodate. The legal test depends on the jurisdiction. Under federal Canadian human rights guidance, it may involve excessive cost or health and safety risks, supported by evidence. Ask for the reason and evidence in writing.
